About the Role
As Associate Director of Transaction Banking (TB) Sales in our Institutional Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maximizing TB opportunities within your assigned portfolio. Leveraging market insights and the bank's extensive networks, you will deliver innovative and differentiating product propositions tailored to clients' needs.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of TB clients, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Large Local Corporations (LLCs), and Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) clients in Beijing. Joining the TB sales team means staying at the forefront of industry developments and capitalizing on opportunities to craft and execute dynamic regional client solutions

What will your day look like?
As an Associate Director of Transaction Banking sales you will;

Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients with operations across multiple regions, ensuring strategic growth and profitability.

Define and implement tactical sales strategies, with a particular focus on Payment and Cash Management (PCM), Liquidity Management Solutions, and regional sales activities.

Deepen client relationships by understanding their unique needs, leading or supporting RFI and RFP responses, delivering impactful presentations, and conducting compelling product demonstrations.

Drive sustainable and diversified revenue generation by nurturing existing relationships and cultivating new opportunities.

Collaborate with a global network of stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Product Managers in PCM and Trade Finance, Operations, and Enablement teams, to align business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Achieve your revenue and returns targets while maintaining strong discipline in risk and compliance management, proactively escalating any issues to the appropriate business partners.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

Expertise in Transaction Banking solutions, including Treasury, Payments and Cash Management, and Trade Finance.

Strong ability to craft sales strategies, manage competing priorities, and drive portfolio growth.

A results-oriented, solutions-driven mindset with perseverance and high-quality work standards.

Autonomous self-starter who collaborates effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Regional knowledge of Payment and Cash Management (PCM) markets across Asia, with an understanding of evolving digital trends such as Blockchain, APIs, and Real-Time Payments.

Excellent communication, influencing, and data visualization skills, along with proficiency in MS Office tools.
