About the Role

 

As a Technology and Information Security Governance (TISG) Partner in our Digital Banking Operations Technology team you’ll be a trusted advisor and expert to technology and business stakeholders to manage technology risk, information security and technology compliance. You will report to the TISG Lead – Singapore & International Cloud to support technology and information security governance activities for our business in ANZ India (Mumbai Branch).

What will your day look like?

 

As a TISG Manager (Line 1 Risk) in our Digital Banking Operations Technology team, you will: 

 

  • Drive technology operational risk excellence using the ANZ Risk Management Framework. You will be supporting Country Technology teams to ensure their key risks are understood and well managed. In addition, you will drive strategic initiatives across the TISG function across the region and support the active management and ongoing dialogue with local regulators on information security matters. 
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to perform assessments, interpret requirements, report/track findings and take action to ensure effective delivery of ANZ’s operational risk framework responsibilities relating to Country Risk Theme Officer matters including Technology Risk and Information Security risk themes and associated oversight of obligations.  
  • Build strong relationships with our Group Security Domain to ensure ongoing governance, oversight and influence where required to satisfy Article 24 set out in the RBI Master Direction on Information Technology Governance, Risk, Controls and Assurance Practices.  You will face into internal audit and external regulatory engagements for the assigned portfolios to support positive outcomes and execution of associated treatment plans, support input into risk assessments as well as assessments against country technology regulatory requirements. You will have good communication and presentation skills that support your ability to translate deep technical matters into business and operational risk consequences. 
  • You will support activities to sustain and improve compliance with internal information security policies and external regulatory requirements, determine technical and business impacts from technology risks or security controls such as penetration testing, independent security assessments, etc. 
  • Contribute to a strong risk culture, and champion information security education in the India franchise by building staff and customer security awareness through delivery of communication and training programs and providing business support and leadership on information security matters. 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • A strong track record in a technology risk, assurance, audit or compliance-based role 
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and business operating risk environment, monitoring legislative change and regulator sentiment to identify emerging risks and actions to ensure compliance, responding when needed (with experience across the financial regulatory landscape of India – Reserve Bank of India)
  • Proven experience providing risk and assurance expertise, ideally to Technology based business units and Institutional Banking exposure
  • A strategic thinker who understands business and customer impacts arising from technology risks
  • Able to deliver security awareness programs and education activities to senior stakeholders and executives
  • Ability to drive and manage own workload and operate within defined deadlines
  • A pragmatic and balanced approach to upholding fundamental risk principals and requirements of risk management frameworks.
  • Information security, cloud security and risk industry qualification desired – CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, and/or CISM qualification or equivalent qualifications.
