About the Role

The Performance Manager supports the Business Performance Lead and key stakeholders to identify and implement initiatives that deliver sustainable value from the risk portfolio of services including Financial Risk, Non-Financial Risk and Reporting & Modelling. The role will:

  • be an integral member of the Risk Transformation Program, working closely with Stream Leads, Finance and Talent & Culture to assist Risk to deliver on its strategic objectives.

  • drive alignment between investment decisions and strategic objectives

  • support the Head of Risk Strategy and Business Performance and Group General Manager Risk Strategy and Transformation with the development and maintenance of Risks’s strategy.

  • develop performance reporting for the Risk Leadership Team and define critical KPIs to support strategy.

  • support the Risk Leadership Team in meeting financial plan targets across BAU and investment.

  • support the Head of Group Risk GCC with Business Performance aspects related to the Risk Function in GCC, including financials.

Role Type: 12 Month Fixed Term/Secondment contract
Role Location: Melbourne, Australia or Bangalore, India

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hrs/week

What will your day look like?

As a Performance Manager, you are accountable for:

  • Developing mechanisms to track performance and value realisation on investments.

  • Leveraging data analytics tools and technology to facilitate data driven decision-making

  • Regularly reporting performance results, insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

  • Coordination, forward planning and setting direction on multiple streams of work ensuring that they are all in alignment to an overall purpose.

  • Working closely with Technology Partners to drive alignment and clarity on technology costs of ownership

  • Developing a roadmap of work and prioritising the sequence of work being done.

  • Cross functional collaboration with stakeholders across Risk to align business goals and initiatives and ensure business targets are met.
