About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our talented mobile front end development squad and co-ordinating across the entire technology stack. If you are passionate about technology, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for turning complex requirements into actionable insights, we want to hear from you! 

You will be given responsibility to oversee all aspects of the development process, from initial design to market release, ensuring that requirements are clear, processes are mapped, and governance is meticulously followed. Day to day this can involve utilsing your knowledge of SCRUM methodologies to keep the squad working efficiently and on track, looking for opportunities to improve process and ensure the squad is a thriving community within itself to ensure its success.

What could your day look like?

As a Business Analyst, you will:    

• Happy to work across an ever expanding array of topics from documentation need across the ANZ Plus Value streams, to Self Service of Refund withheld tax and account closure     
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed requirements and user stories for squad 
• Evangelise ‘why’ work is being taken on so that all squads understand the tasks and end goals 
• Support maintaining a healthy prioritised roadmap and backlog  
• Monitor project progress, end results and strategies for continual improvement 
• Comfortable facilitating squad session beyond SCRUM ceremonies to interacting as individuals 
• Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices and new features as well as how the bank operates 
• Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work  
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation. 

What's in your toolkit?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:    

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a mobile development environment 
• Understanding of front end technologies and the full technology stack 
• Expertise in SCRUM methodologies and agile frameworks 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results 
• Commercial acumen, experience working closely with risk, legal and product teams  
• Knowledge of business continuity planning, including the assessment of potential risks and the implementation of controls to ensure uninterrupted delivery operations 
• Effective communicator, effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to success   
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience leading cross-functional squads to deliver business and customer outcomes 
• Proficiency in effectively prioritising and allocating people and resources based on project priorities and strategic objectives.
