About the Role

As a Program Lead, you will support the ongoing delivery of business value associated with Risk Transformation. This includes the overall delivery, disciplines and governance including the program delivery roadmap, intra-stream dependencies, and driving initiatives to completion on time and within scope. The Program Lead identifies the need for and schedules and delivers planning sessions and facilitates discussions with key stakeholders to drive momentum for the delivery teams. The role is responsible for ensuring that value measures (objectives and key results) are tracked and reported on to provide clarity on the Risk strategy’s objectives and outcomes.

What will your day look like?

As a Program Lead, you are accountable for:

    • Supporting Risk Leaders in ensuring Delivery teams are focused on priorities and work is on track for value drops

    • Working with Risk Teams to establish Delivery teams in line with funding assumptions

    • Assisting in work sizing and funding assessments

    • Supporting the capture of appropriate information aligned to Group Strategy

 

As a Program Lead, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the Risk Strategy Roadmap and measurement:

    • Along with the Stream Teams, develop a roadmap of initiatives and value that will be developed and delivered by the Risk Teams over time

    • Monitor and measure work delivered by the delivery teams in line with the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework

    • Ensure that work is completed on time and within scope

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Expert at coordination, and forward planning across multiple streams of work to support alignment to an overall purpose.

  • Experienced at developing a roadmap of work and prioritize the sequence of work being done.

  • Expert at developing mechanisms to track performance and value realization on investments.

  • Ability to quickly gather information on the progress of work and communicate this to key stakeholders.

  • Expert at identifying, monitoring and managing risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses.

  • You have experience working with Agile practices and project management fundamentals.

  • Strong solutions focus, delivering great outcomes within agreed timeframes.
