About the role
This is critical role within the Institutional Capital Reforms Program (ICRP), a high priority program that will deliver a number of major system and process changes in response to the requirements released by APRA under APS 112 and APS 113. These changes will impact existing ANZ systems and result in significant technology and process changes that will need to be effectively defined, planned, implemented, and adapted by the organisation to ensure compliance with the new requirements.
As a Senior Credit ICRP Analyst, you will be part of a cross-functional team handling various activities related to the Institutional Capital Reform Program, including creditworthiness checks, case management, data validation, collateral management, and backbook reviews, while ensuring compliance with ANZ policies. As a Senior Team member, you will also mentor junior team members, ensure quality standards, generate reports, and assist in process improvements.

Role Type: 12 months Fixed-term
Schedule: Dayshift (shift assignments may be revised periodically based on operational & business needs)
What will your day look like?
As a Senior Credit ICRP Analyst, you will:

Conduct creditworthiness checks for in-scope customer facilities to ensure compliance with policy requirements.

Case Management of activity that needs to be referred for decisioning to CAD holders globally

Support the business in executing Draw Referral and assist customers globally on a shifting schedule to ensure continuous coverage and support

Perform data management including validation and remediation activities.

Handle collateral management activities.

Conduct backbook reviews for Institutional and Commercial clients.

Engage in FAD Mapping Activities.

Contribute to optimising cost-to-serve through efficient practices and enhanced productivity.

Perform any other activities aligned with the ICRP and directives from all other functions covered by the program.

Adherence to ANZ risk/ compliance policies

Mentor junior team members: providing guidance, coaching, and training to help them develop professionally.

Ensure that work produced by the team meets quality standards and adheres to best practices.

Generate reports, analyse data, and provide insights to inform decision-making.

Assist the Team Lead in streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and implementing best practices within the team.

Meet with numerous stakeholder groups across Institutional Banking, Group Risk and other teams

Execute activities associated with the completion of Creditworthiness Checks.

Undertake discussions with Relationship Managers, R&A partners regarding client specific requirements.

Attend and actively contribute to program team meetings, including regular stand ups and team planning sessions
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

At least 5 years experience within the banking industry

An understanding of credit policies and portfolio risk management (including knowledge of external ratings)

Knowledge of loan facilities and collateral

Ability to work effectively within a large and multifunctional program under tight deadlines

Ability to both work independently and in collaboration with others

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders)

Strong stakeholder management skills

Resourcefulness and ability to identify areas for process improvement

Experience working in Agile delivery teams
