About the Role

We’re seeking a Small Business Cashflow Specialist to join our close-knit team in Melbourne. Working from home and from the office, you’ll connect with new and existing customers by phone and via anz.com to understand the customer, their business and their goals, so you can support their cashflow needs.

Successful candidates will complete a a Commercial Banking induction to get up to speed. You’ll then use your understanding of cash flow concepts and ANZ products to provide tailored recommendations to customers when you connect with them.

This is a great opportunity for people with a passion for customer service looking to start a career in banking. Many of our Specialists have moved on to more technical lending roles, managing relationships with a portfolio of customers, and working with brokers.

What will your day look like?

As a Small Business Cashflow Specialist, you will be:

• Actioning incoming calls and digital opportunities by conducting needs-based conversations 

• Providing valuable advice and tailored recommendations to fulfill end-to-end requirements

• Taking ownership of customer issues, resolving them and recording discussions for future reference

• Assisting customers’ end-to-end transactional banking requirements 

• Identifying additional customer needs and referring the customer to an appropriate channel

• Collaborating with the team to contribute to a high-performance culture

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Professional phone manner/etiquette  

• Oral and written communication skills

• Adhering to structured roster/operating rhythm

• Understanding of small business & commercial markets

• Thorough knowledge of ANZ procedure, products and services (desired not essential)

• Understanding of Money In, Managing Money, Money Out and cash flow concepts is desirable.
