About the Role
As a Data & Systems Lead you will be responsible for:

The design, build out and maintenance of Fraud and Scams Data.

The design, build out and maintenance of Fraud and Scams Reporting.
-
Critical in supporting the broader Customer Protection teams through the delivery of automated solutions which will enhance/improve Fraud and Scam strategies that apply to all portfolios.

Continually looking to redefine ways in which we can improve the performance of Fraud Analytics data strategies.

The ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business within Operations, Technology Analytics leadership team to drive the Fraud and Scams Analytics strategy.

Pivotal for the Fraud Analytics leadership team and provides feedback / coaching to analysts regarding data analytics data, techniques, and tools. Opportunities for uplift include organizing training with external vendors.

Strategic thinking and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. This role owns the delivery and strategic direction of the Fraud and Scams data warehouse solution. They are expected to bring the Fraud Analytics data solution in line with ANZ’s data framework.

What will your day look like?
As a Data & Systems Lead, you will:

Lead delivery of BaU, initiatives and projects which relate to Fraud and Scams Data and Reporting.

Managing multiple streams of work related to design and delivery of Fraud and Scams data and associated assets.
-
Managing conflicting priorities, influencing team and stakeholders on design decisions.
-
Coaching and influencing all members of Customer Protection to adopt the new change management framework and improve overall data / process governance.
-
Promote an open, transparent, and collaborative culture inside Customer Protection and across the wider team.

Help drive technology, process, structure, and cultural improvements within Customer Protection.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Strong Fraud and or Scams knowledge
-
Strong business analysis skills and ability to translate business problems to technical solutions
-
Creative and innovative solutioning ability

Strong communication, interpersonal skills to influence the adoption of the uplifted frameworks
-
Ability to plan and prioritize to deliver the best outcomes
-
Good appreciation of technology and toolsets in information management and BI space
-
Proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest developments, technologies and tooling
-
Have a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies and techniques
-
Know-how of Technology Infrastructure management aspects.

Hands on work experience on information delivery aspects like data model design, reporting delivery etc.

Ability to quickly grasp new content and the ability to translate this to your Chapter.

Ability to ask for and give feedback.

Understand customer needs to make sound judgments.
