About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping to provide critical support to the EM of Business Banking Operations and the Operational Change and Effectiveness Manager.  You will be responsible for commissioning diagnostic reporting and providing detailed insights to drivers of statistics to ensure the standards of operations effectiveness is maintained across all team and all change impacts are well understood, planned for, and transitioned.

What will your day look like?

As a Business Analyst, you are accountable for: 

• Ensuring BB Operations' operating rhythm and cadences are scheduled and tracked
• Supporting the Change and Effectiveness Manager in operationalising all change impacts to Business Bank Operations
• Tracking and reporting on actual performance against KPI’s and preparing appropriate commentary in consultation with the Leaders
• Carrying out analysis of results
• Tracking, monitoring and reporting on operating metrics by ensuring data capture is accurate, appropriate training on Enlighten is delivered and individual team performance is analysed
• Regularly updating key data tracking systems including LM Mailtrack and Enlighten
• Maintaining deep knowledge Business Bank data sources including how to source reports and produce reports in BB Operations; provide insights and commentary.
• Conducting periodic reviews to ensure systems compliance (systems access)
• Accomplishing data extraction to support initiatives
• Assisting in preparation and content of presentation decks
• Providing Subject Matter Expertise on Microsoft Office suite
• Supporting quarterly planning activities
• Ensuring consistency in management of all operations artifacts e.g., templates, calculators, BB SharePoint content.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst and sound knowledge of Business Banking process and Excel Power Query
• Experience in Banking, preferably Business Banking
• Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem solving and quantitative analysis skills. Ability to translate analysis outcomes into commercial solutions.
• Proven track record for delivering tasks against requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business
• Front line experience as a business banking lender would be highly regarded
