About the Role
As an Engineer in our Asset Finance Collections team of Group Services domain you’ll play a key role to facilitate the recovery of monies owed on delinquent Asset Finance contracts. This role delivers on the tribe backlog, working independently and closely with others to prioritise and complete the work, manage interdependencies, and implement changes for production.

Work Hours: 7 am to 4 pm
What will your day look like?
As an Engineer, you will:
- Work in agile mode to collaborate with the Product Owners in the Tribe to prioritize, estimate, and refine tasks for upcoming sprints
- Evaluate business requirements for enhancements and bug fixes, then proceed with designing and building the necessary solutions
- Ensure that build activities comply with development standards and that all required artifacts are consistently updated, and release processes followed
- Identify and report any risks or issues, ensuring transparent and effective communication with all stakeholders
- Demonstrate self-motivation to foster innovation and drive process improvements across teams
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Backend Development: Proficiency in C#.NET and .NET Core with hands-on experience in building scalable applications
- API & Architecture: Expertise in Web API, MVC, and Microservice architecture, along with a solid understanding of SOLID principles for maintainable and efficient development
- Frontend Development: Practical experience in React.js for crafting dynamic and responsive user interfaces
- Development & Collaboration Tools: Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub for project management, documentation, and version control
- Database Management: Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including database design, querying, indexing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
