About the Role
The Operations Manager will support the daily operations of Private Banking team. The role will act as a single point of contact for team in Bangalore. Role will be responsible for managing Maintenance and Account Origination QA, risk acceptance, resource planning, training, and capability uplift. This will support the day-to-day leadership requirements of the team including, but not limited to, daily check ins, coaches, escalations, attending leadership meetings, stakeholder and project meetings, support to QA, forecasting.
This position is responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across the breadth of the ANZ Private Wealth business and delivering operational outcomes to support new and existing banking products. The role will require high levels of engagements with PB Servicing stakeholder to ensure the team is meeting all the requirement.
What will your day look like?
- Manage within expense and FTE plans
- Increase team efficiency as measured in ATOM
- Minimise non-lending losses
- Improve relationships with Internal Stakeholders
- Perform against Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards
- Perform against agreed Client Impacting error rates
- Perform against agreed internal & external Quality Control standards
- Ensure that proper records are maintained for compliance/audit purposes.
- Ensure detailed process maps for all key end to end processes are documented.
- Ensure that an appropriate level of risk awareness is maintained within the business
- Improve engagement scores within business
- Develop ATOM / Operations Management capability within team
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in an operational environment within banking and financial services
- A working knowledge of relevant Acts, laws, regulations and accepted industry practices within the banking and mortgage industry
- At least 3 years’ experience in management of direct and indirect reports in an operational environment and also handled high net worth client whose owns asset more than $3 million
- Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging and rapidly changing business environment
- High level capability to manage a broad range of Stakeholder relationships ranging from ANZ Private Wealth Associates (5.3) through to Directors (Group 3).
- Computer Literacy – MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
