About the Role
In this Employee Journey Expert role, you will become a valued member of the Diversity and Inclusion team which covers the portfolios of Diversity & Inclusion and Flexible Working.
In 2025, a key focus of this role will be on leading our approach to flexible and hybrid working, identifying opportunities to improve employee experience and optimise ways of working.

What will your day look like?
As an Employee Journey Expert – Flexibility & Inclusion, you are accountable for:
Planning and Prioritisation

Working with your team and leader to prioritise and plan the work using ANZ agile methodology, to continuously review and refine the ‘backlog’, retaining visibility of delivery focus areas and interdependencies, to maximise the value being delivered each sprint, balancing the employee experience, quality and risk.

Assuring the integrity of initiatives while balancing the business’s capacity to absorb change.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

Driving high quality outcomes and alignment across multi-disciplinary business stakeholders within ANZ (e.g. Technology, Operations, Finance, Property, Talent and Culture, Risk and Strategic Communications).

Establish and leverage internal and external networks and relationships to assist in progressing ANZ’s Diversity & Inclusion agenda.

Develop and implement communications strategies and plans to support change initiatives.

Prepare and deliver stakeholder briefing materials for a range of audiences, including senior business leaders.
Employee Experience and Data Driven Insights

Understanding business and people processes to continuously improve, simplify and deliver a better employee experience across portfolios of Diversity & Inclusion and Flexible Working.

Engaging with broad employee groups and leveraging available data to develop insights into employee needs and behaviours, ensuring they are represented in the design of solutions.

Support your leader to communicate emerging work, ideas and initiatives not aligned with your team’s mission but worthy of prioritisation at the C&TD function or T&C division level.

Develop and/or optimise solutions to drive simple employee experiences, aligning with other functions and divisions on the end-to-end employee journey.

Follow through to ensure employee experience changes are embedded, reviewed and continuously iterated and improved – the work does not stop at implementation
